Well its lift off time to Guernsey for Kev, Alan & Dave. Karen who will be looking after the guys, flew out on Wednesday to prepare the islander for our arrival !

Very unlucky not to come away with a win ! With Heather & Craig winning all three rubbers, Mary & Steff taking one. Have to say a big thank you to Alan for stepping in to play with Christina ! Alan is still injured (arm ) and was in a lot of pain. Good to see the girls from the Heath, Ceri & lynda ! always fair players and they played well for their victory.

TWO PLAYERS FROM HOLM VIEW BADMINTON CLUB REPRESENT WALES IN THE GUERNSEY MASTERS, DAVE STOPGATE AND KEVIN PERRY FLY OUT ON THE 5th OF APRIL, ALAN GRIFFITHS ALSO OF HOLM VIEW WAS DUE TO PLAY THE EVENT BUT HAS HAD TO WITHDRAW BECAUSE OF INJURY, ALAN WILL STILL TRAVEL WITH BOYS TO ORGANISE THE BEERS AND WOMEN !

Last minute panic ! ! Alan with some ringing around managed to get 6 of us to come out to play ! The match went ahead a little later than normal, Steff and Dave played well all night and were unlucky not to win 3 , Peter and myself managed to win 1, with Alan playing with his bad arm and Vaughan making up the 3rd pairing. In all fairness Cardiff played well and deserved the win.

Great home win, With Kev & Karen on top form winning all three rubbers, Karen playing some of her best badminton to date. With Kev his usual cool calm self. Jenny and mike ( Jenny with her new hair do ) winning two, Kath and Rob winning one, Well done guys, brilliant win and a good game to watch,

Great win for our mixed A away at Llantrisant, Never an easy place to go and get a result. Llantrisant only had two pairs, so two rubbers were needed to get that victory, It was left to Christine & Andy to win and, win they did, with Christine playing the best she has played all season, Well done Chris !
